Aided Visual Inspection involves the use of magnifying lenses or microscopes to enhance the visibility and clarity of the inspected item. This can be useful for detecting small defects or imperfections that may not be visible to the naked eye.

The second method of inspection is Physical Inspection. It may include checking for loose or broken parts ensuring proper alignment and assessing the overall condition and functionality.
During physical inspection it is important to pay attention to details such as rust corrosion dents cracks or any signs of wear and tear. Moving parts should be checked for smooth operation and measurements should be verified for accuracy.
The third method of inspection is Performance Inspection. This involves testing the tools instruments equipment or paraphernalia to ensure they perform as intended. For example a drafting instrument such as a compass should be checked to ensure it can create accurate circles and a drafting machine should be tested to ensure it moves smoothly along the drafting table.
Performance inspection may also involve conducting simulated or actual use of the tools or equipment to assess their functionality accuracy and reliability. This can help identify any issues that may affect the performance or output of the tools.
Finally there is Documentation Inspection. This involves reviewing any documentation such as instruction manuals maintenance records or inspection reports to gather information about the tools instruments equipment or paraphernalia. It can provide insights into the proper usage maintenance requirements and any previous issues or repairs.
